Hello All,
Wednesday morning approx 8.15am some silly BLEEP in a transit van changed lane
on Steve and put him in hospital.
I have not seen the bike yet, but the police think it is a right off.
Steve is in Hospital, Darlinton Memorial and is being kept in for the next few
days due to his injuries. So if you want to pop in a visit him give me a shout
for full details.
OK main points;
He has a puncture woumd in his left knee (not sure what caused it), but it's
been operated on to clean it out.
He has a fractured pelvis, not near the joints luckily.
He has suffered concussion and a small bleed to the brain, the doctors are
monitoring this but do not seem concerned.
The police think that it was the fault of the van driver, and they have
witnesses.
Steve is fine in himself, feeling very sore, taking the micky out of the nurses
and sleeping lots, but I think that's the morphine. He cannot remember the
accident at the moment.
